Very strange. I just saw referrals from this Rupee News website that Omar mentioned earlier today to my Discover blog. Here’s a comment from Dr khan:
really interesting piece revisionist history, although quite easy to argue for and against! its a matter of hook or by crook or an easy fit for the glove, if you understand my gist? anyway more to the point, absolute proof that central Asia, Pakistan have a shared history heritage including the indus valley civilisation can be found in genetics and the fact Pakistanis are a race apart from there non fellow Indians, im surprised that rupee news has not written something to this regard! here some leads to Lactose tolerance genetics and distribution and why pakistan was the indus valley civilisation and India was the jungle, we have more in common with the Berbers of north africa than with bharatis!

The commenter misunderstands. From what I can tell the main difference between Pakistan and Northwest India is that Pakistanis are probably a touch more cosmopolitan in their ancestry because of the wide ranging net of the Dar-al-Islam. For example, Pakistanis seem much more likely than Indian Punjabis to have trace levels of African ancestry.
I am not quite convinced that this isn’t an elaborate hoax.
